Hello Scalloped Bikinis!

Hello Scalloped Bikinis!

It is safe to assume that every year there is a new "it" swimsuit brand or style that trends and everybody wants it or copies it. It was TRIANGL Australia  last year and every bikini just had to be made of neoprene material.

This year, Marysia Swim is definitely the must have bikini in your bag.  Scallops everywhere.  At the end of this post you will know what I am talking about.

What caught my eye last year (pun) was the Evil Honolulu bikini for their Resort 2015 collection. I clicked on it, chose my size, hit add to cart--did not check out.  Price was a bit too much for me.

Months went by and I did not find a good enough reason to break $300 for a bikini.  Now that a beach trip is on its way I am back to searching for a pair to take with me and my #selfie stick.  I find myself loving Marysia Swim but just not have the budget for it.  It is so simple, feminine, and something I know I can wear ten summers from now (if it fits). They have that "look" that you know its Marysia when you see it without having to mark it with any monogram or logo.

I love it.  Scalloped bikinis?  Definitely Marysia territory.

This Antibes bikini in Peony Pink is just lovely.  I want it.  I love the basket weave texture it has on the garment they used.  It already feels comfortable and flattering. Top and bottom sold separately and it is $130 each piece.

This is also pretty cute don't you think so?  I think so.  It is called the Windansea shirt dress worn as a bikini cover-up that retails for $202.

If money is no issue, go for it, indulge and splurge.  If you're working on a budget and not the type to really spend on bikinis, I did find an alternative for you:

All hail Victoria's Secret Scalloped bikini.  $29.95 for the top and yes you may opt to purchase the Scalloped bikini bottom as well.  Comes in yellow, black, red, white, and blue. I think it definitely can work and VS is known to make good quality bikinis.

I think I may go for this one as well. I guess you will all find out from my instagram posts if you care that much.  So remember girls (and boys if your gifting your girls) Neoprene is out, Scalloped bikinis are in.

I look forward to sharing with you my next best alternative. Let me help you find yours!

Email me at angelicopter899@gmail.com of what you want, your budget, and I'll try to find your next best thing.
